This great endstop solution provides you an easily mountable PCB for establishing home positions on the various axes of your 3D printer and CNC machine. Like our optical endstop solution, you can easily hook this board up to your electronics using a 3-wire cable. The microswitch should be hit by a carriage on your axis for example, to trigger a detection signal. This way your electronics can detect when an axis hits it's home position for example. On the pcb is a 3-pin Molex header and 3-pin dupond header, allowing you to connect the endstop with a 3-way wire to your electronics. The module will work fine with either 3v3 or 5v input, so you can use it on the Ultratronics board as well. Connect the 3v3/5v input to the + pin, connect the - to the corresponding pin on your electronics and the detection pin to S. The PCB will pull-up the signal to reduce the chance of interference. In your firmware, put inverting to true, as the module will give a LOW signal when it measures detection.
The Mechanical end stop pcb has two 3mm mounting holes for mounting the board to your 3D printer or CNC machine. Refer to the drawing for details of the placement of the holes.
